Nurses need to be able to decipher medical records to illustrate the severity of TBIs, potential complications, and anticipated pitfalls that inherently accompany the analysis of TBIs to assist attorneys with TBI cases.
Upon completion of the learning activity the learner will be able to:
a. Understand the neuropsychiatric sequelae that come from TBI.
b. Decipher medical records to illustrate the severity of the injuries, potential complications, and challenges with analysis of TBIs.
c. Assist attorneys with TBI cases using a systematic approach.
