Title: A Case of Peripartum Sepsis

Nurses need to be able to recognize early warning signs of sepsis and mobilize specialty teams to improve patient outcomes and save lives. Upon completion of the learning activity the learner will be able to: a. Understand the physiology and early warning signs of maternal sepsis. b. Know how the standard of care for mobilizing Rapid Response Teams. c. Assist attorneys with review and expert testimony with maternal sepsis cases.
