Description/Purpose: Participation in this online module will increase the learner’s knowledge on alternative dispute resolution and arbitration and the role of the LNC in the arbitration process.
Learning Objectives:
· Define alternative dispute resolution (ADR) and arbitration and discuss the role of the LNC in the arbitration process
· Define mediation and identify the steps in the mediation process and the role of the LNC
· Identify the steps in preparing a settlement brochure for mediation
· Discuss other settlement methods
